App licence

The iPhone app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different licence is explicitly supplied with the app. This page explains Catch’s features and purchase arrangements; it does not replace that licence or limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Purchases and restores

The App Store displays the applicable local price before you confirm an in-app purchase.

Apple handles payment, purchase history and refund requests. Use Restore Purchases in Catch’s voyage library with the Apple Account that made the purchase. The permanent unlock is attached to that purchase; it is not a promise that the app or third-party services will operate indefinitely. Workout data and connected services

Catch imports workouts from Concept2 only when you connect your account. You are responsible for using an account you are authorised to access. Concept2 is independently operated and its availability, data and terms can change. Catch does not pair directly with rowing equipment or record live workouts.

Charts, estimated metrics, comparisons and personal bests depend on the measurements and history available in Catch. Missing, incomplete or incorrect source data can affect results. Keep copies of information you want to preserve; a CSV export is available in Settings. Catch does not offer its own account-based cloud backup.

Recreation and general fitness

Catch’s insights describe your recorded rowing. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or a personalised exercise prescription. Virtual voyages and myth discoveries are for interest and motivation; their maps are not navigation aids.

Catch is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Concept2. Concept2, ErgData, Apple and other third-party names belong to their respective owners. Voyage charts are drawn by Catch from Natural Earth public-domain map data and OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors.
